GAS MAIN PROJECT ON HARVARD STREET

National grid, in an effort to improve gas service to residents in Garden City will begin mobilizing and installing a new gas main on Harvard Street during the week of Sept 30, 2019: The project is expected to take  approximately 2 months to complete. Local road closures may occur however residents will have access to their driveways at the end of each day. Any sidewalks and or grass areas that are disturbed will be fully restored by National Grid. The road will be open for emergency vehicles. St. Paul’s Plan Proposal

Welcome to the CPOA Website

The CPOA serves as a civic association providing a venue for its residents to voice their concerns on village matters affecting the central section as well as providing representation to the Mayor and the Village Board of Trustees.  Our monthly meetings are open to all central residents during which reports are given by the officers and directors as well as our village Trustees.  We encourage an open dialogue among the CPOA board, the Trustees and the residents on current village issues.

Water Tower Replacement Project

The demolition of the Old Country Rd water tower will be commencing the week of April 8th. Mobilization of equipment, including a crane, onto the job site will start next week. During this time the sidewalk in front of the tower on Old Country Road will be closed and will remain closed for the duration of the project. We expect this project to take approximately 12-14 months to complete.
