The Village has just been informed that The Cathedral of the Incarnation will be closing off a portion of their road adjoining Sixth Street from Cathedral to Rockaway Avenues, next Monday, January 13 through Friday, January 17 in conjunction with two special events that will have a lot of pedestrian traffic between the Cathedral and the Cathedral House. There will be a high volume of parishioners from the Diocese arriving by train and the road closure will help them. The Village’s Police and Fire Departments have been notified.
The Street Department is putting barricades in Parking Field 7N tomorrow (Friday, January 10) because, between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. Friday morning, January 10th the Village’s night watchman will be blocking spaces off in the parking lot for an outside engineering company (Liro) who will be in at approximately 7:30 a.m. to survey areas for the Village. As they finish a section they will open the section up (see attached for areas). There will be a temporary inconvenience of parking in 7N on Thursday, 1/10/2020 from 4:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. due to survey work being conducted…
