Tge Garden City fire department will host their annual Open House on Saturday, 4/26 from 10 AM until noon. Stop by the firehouse and learn what the fire department does for our village.

GC will host an Arbor Day ceremony at 2 o’clock on the Library lawn and accept the gift of a tree from the Rotary.

Celebrate Earth Day, April 22, by attending the ceremonial opening of GC’s Pollinator at 4:30, located at the corner of Hilton and Stewart Avenues. GC has planted perennials that support pollinators (butterflies, bees) by providing both nectar/nourishment and a habitat. Pollinators are an essential part of the ecosystem and the food chain. There will be activities for children, as well as the release of several Painted Lady butterflies.

in In addition to the annual antique car parade on Sunday, April 20, this year there will also be an Easter Bonnet Parade. To participate in the Bonnet Patade, meet in front of Leos at 11:30; Bonnet Patade at 11:45. The Car parade will start at 12:00 noon.

The CPOA will hold our monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 8 at 7:30 PM in the Senior Center (Golf Club Lane). Trustees Torino and Varano will give updates on Village developments. Other committees and boards will also report.

There will be a Viilage election for Mayor and trustee positions on Tuesday, March 18. Voting will be held at the St Pauls Fieldhouse from 12:00-9:00 pm.
