The four POAs invite all residents to attend a Town Hall Meeting featuring BOE candidates on April 30. The meeting will start at 7:30 at the Senior Center.

The CPOA invites all Centeal residents to a meeting on Aoril 30 at 7:00. The meeting will be T the Senior Center on the conference room adjacent to the lounge. It will precede the BOE Town Hall which starts at 7:30.

Join the Village in celebrating Arbor Day on Friday, April 26 at 2:00 on the Village Green. A Norway Spruce Tree will be planted. Our Village Arborist will be there, light refreshments will be served and more.

The Garden City Fire Department is excited to announce our Volunteer Firefighter Recruitment Open House, happening on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Fire Headquarters, 347 Stewart Ave, Garden City NY. This is a unique opportunity for community members to step forward, get involved, and make a significant difference by considering volunteering as firefighters. The meetings will be held at the GC Public Library at 2:00. Presentations will include what the Committee learned from visiting seven tri-state community centers in terms of funding, operation and benefits for residents.
